There are two major function types in the CMS:
Static Content Management

- These are sections which don’t require regular changes or the content is not dependent upon some variable (such as a future expiry date). For example, an “About us” page will only be edited from time to time and is not dependent upon any external condition to change the behaviour of the page.
- Static Content appears automatically on the “live” website when it is published.
Dynamic Module Management
- Manages the dynamic nature of some content types such as News, Press Releases etc.
- The publication of this type of content is managed by the system.
- Dynamic Content only appears on the “live” website when the publication criteria is valid.
- For example, you can set criteria such as “Publication Begin and End Dates” for any particular news item. Another example would be the Banner Management Module; it can display a banner based on some pre-defined rule.

Our CMS has a powerful WYSIWYG Content Editor across all the modules, it allows web administrator to add and edit content easily. Media Manager is incorporated into the editor so that the content can be easily accessible. To create a hyperlink to the web or PDF file is as easy to upload the file and then create the hyperlink. This is all happen within the editor. The editor will be predefined a set of styles for the website. The web administrator does not need to remember the style of each module. He or she can focus on the management of content itself.
Creating content is simple with the WYSIWYG editor, giving even novice users the ability to combine text, images in an attractive way. Content has several meta fields that can help the search engine to find your site. Content that is specially published in the mobile device can be managed via the Content Manager
Some websites have member only areas, the User or Member Manager includes registration, login, forget password functions.
The News/Article/Blog Manager is the tool for easily managing news, articles or blogs. For the news item, administrators can control when to publish a news items and when the news item drops off from the website. In addition, once a particular news item is created, it can be displayed on the website chronologically (default) or administrators can sort the news in their own preference. Administrators can choose to convert the news, articles or blogs into RSS feed which can be easily published by other sites.
Administrators can define meta information while creating the web pages. In addition, CMS automatically generates SEO friendly URLs. |
