CocoNet Technology 's Intelligent Tracking System (ITS) is a cloud based solution that allows all authorised stakeholders to manage service and maintenance activities.
The solution consists of an application server with a central database. The system function is to capture data regarding service records and faults identified by the inspectors during servicing. Such data is recorded, with photographs if required, time, user and date stamped and made available to other authorised users via the cloud.
Each recorded defect is held as a unique item and the rectification process tracked up to sign off.
The system is hosted in a secured data centre in Pyrmont, Sydney at the Global Switch secure hosting facility.
The solution supports a range of Tablet computers which allow inspectors to capture images and record data.
New data entered to the tablet PC can either be saved locally and synchronised to the cloud database when either WiFi, or 3G transport is available. Otherwise, synchronisation takes place via the docking station connection, when the inspector returns to his desk.
